Evaluation practice is rapidly evolving and new tools and methods are constantly emerging.  What’s a busy evaluator to do? Come learn from your peers!

The 2018 CESBC Evaluation Conference is being held in Vancouver, BC, on Friday, November 30. This conference is about opening up our evaluation toolboxes and sharing with each other what we know and what we’ve learned. The goal is for every attendee to come away from the conference with something new to apply in their work. The conference is an opportunity to strengthen skill sets, build up your network of evaluators, and make new connections. Our focus is on building CESBC’s culture as an innovative and supportive evaluation community.

The Conference Organizers

The conference is brought to you by the Lower Mainland members of the BC chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society. CESBC is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluation (such as managers, program staff and planners). CESBC is a member funded voluntary organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will be given for requests received in writing no later than the end of day October 30, 2018 less an administration fee of $100; send an email to cesbcconference2018@gmail.com. All refunds will be issued by December 31, 2018.

After the cancellation deadline, we regret that no refunds will be granted; however, we will accept substitute delegates. The substituting party is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating all contact information.
