* Wifi: The Vancouver Convention Centre offers limited free Wi-Fi zones to accommodate the needs of users with simple wireless requirements (e.g. checking e-mails) in the Coal Harbour Café (and surrounding area) and the Burrard lobby. Individuals requiring greater Wi-Fi access can purchase it on a per device basis through the VCC internet portal, available on-site. Personal data plans can be used without restriction.*

Conference Bursaries

Conference bursaries are closed. If you need financial assistance to attend the conference, please visit the CESBC DEI fund page. 

Conference Buddy Program

The conference Buddy Program is back! The Buddy Program pairs experienced evaluators with students and emerging evaluators for a breakfast on the morning of the conference. Mentors are invited to share their knowledge and experience with mentees before and during the conference.

This year, we will be holding a virtual networking session on Thursday, October 20th at 6:30pm where mentors and mentees can meet one another and take part in some interactive activities before the conference begins. You are still able to register as a mentor or mentee if you are unable to make this virtual networking session.

The Conference Organizers

The conference is brought to you by the members and volunteers of the BC chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society. CESBC is a chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), the professional organization for evaluation professionals, students, academics and users of evaluation (such as managers, program staff and planners). CESBC is a member funded voluntary organization. We work to provide the evaluation community in British Columbia with learning opportunities, networking and resources. We are happy to take advice and organize events that the community suggests.
